Martinair Cargo offers freight service from/to Chennai

Martinair Cargo serves a new destination in the Asian schedule with in a regular service. Since the beginning of the month Chennai (former Madras) is served two times per week. A Boeing 747-400 ERF with an air freight capacity of 120 tons has two stopovers per week in the south Indian economic metropolis. The aircraft takes off in Hong Kong and flies via Chennai to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and to Amsterdam. In the opposite direction the Boeing 747-400 ERF starts on Wednesdays and Fridays from Amsterdam via Sharjah to Hong Kong.

With the establishment of the flight service from/to Chennai Martinair responds to the growing demand for air cargo capacities on the routes from China to India and from India to the Middle East.
