Further step of expansion by Wein-Lagerlogistik GmbH

Wein-Lagerlogistik GmbH offers comprehensive transport and logistics concepts for winemakers and merchants – and an expanded storage at their site in Parndorf

Wein-Lagerlogistik GmbH set another step of expansion. With an investment of EUR 750,000 a 2,200 m² hall with 3,000 pallet slots was added to the warehouse in Parndorf, northern Burgenland. The additional building was inaugurated on 9 December in the presence of Hans Niessl, governor of the province of Burgenland, Ing. Peter Nemeth, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Andreas Leithner, managing director in the frame of an open house.

The transport and storage capacities of Wein-Lagerlogistik GmbH, based in Parndorf in northern Burgenland, since 2007 ensure a stable supply chain through a racked storage area of 7,700 m2 with 8,000 high-lift pallet spaces and temperature-controlled and computerized storage including picking, packing, labeling and fine distribution.

The Wein-Lagerlogistik GmbH company provides tailor-made solutions for winemakers and wine merchants in Parndorf. The transport and logistics services include import / export activities, warehousing with distribution, documentation and customs service. In logistics, the company uses the latest information technology and cooperates with reliable trucking companies across Europe, guaranteeing a „just-in-time“ availability of the goods at the customer.

„The demand for wine from Burgenland has been growing continuously in recent years – both nationally and internationally. High quality wine requires high-quality marketing and logistics. All of this is offered from one source by the Leithner family company Wein-Logistik GmbH, with 17 employees in Austria’s only bonded warehouse,“ Hans Niessl, Burgenland’s governor said in his speech.
