Gebrüder Weiss changes partner in Oberfranken

The Gebrüder Weiss Group is about to change its partner in the region Oberfranken in Germany. As of June 1, the longstanding partner Militzer & Münch from Hof will be replaced by Bischoff Internationl GmbH from Naila, which is a 100%-subsidiary of Geis Group. The background for this change is the sale of the national land transport activities to Bischoff International, which was announced by M&M Deutschland a few weeks ago.

Gebrüder Weiss and M&M location in Hof have been connected by a cooperation that has been lasting for more than 30 years. In the framework of the new partnership with Bischoff International the existent offer will remain as before. Continuity in the highly developed traffics between Austria and Germany, and between eastern Switzerland and Germany is also secured, according to a press release of Gebrüder Weiss.

Bischoff International GmbH was established 80 years ago. Since 2006 the company, based in Naila in the administrative district Hof, has been a 100%-subsidiary of Geis Group. With 360 employees the company renders services in national and international land transport.
