Gebrüder Weiss announces completion of the integration and rebranding of Sprenger forwarding
 
Gebrüder Weiss has completed the last step in rebranding the Sprenger forwarding company in Aldingen, Germany. The globally acting transport and logistics company has announced that with effect from 1 March 2013, the Sprenger headquarters in Aldingen are fully integrated in the GW network. Gebrüder Weiss has taken over Spedition Sprenger with effect from 1 January 2013, headed by Anton Hagg, branch manager GW Memmingen. Georg Dieterle, branch manager Aldingen – previous managing director of Sprenger International GmbH, will report to Anton Hagg.
 
By fully integrating the Sprenger forwarding company, we are considerably strengthening our position in Baden-Württemberg. From this key date we will be able to offer our customers the services that made Gebrüder Weiss one of the most successful providers of transport and logistics services in Europe , says Anton Hagg.
 
In the frame of the purchase all, a broad customer base and new logistics facilities,  Hagg illustrates the background of the acquisition.
 
The entire Sprenger staff of 70 employees will be taken over and complemented with 15 GW employees from Tuttlingen: the company moved its staff of 15 people and the business activities of the Tuttlingen branch to Aldingen, at a distance of about 20 km.
