Gefco Austria opens new central location in Styria

Gefco Austria is joining its Gleisdorf and Zettling branches at one site creating new jobs in logistics

Gefco, the automotive logistics specialist, is joining its operations in Styria at one site. At the address Sternweg 22, in 8141 Zettling, a new logistics facility featuring 14 employees was established to manage the services for the logistics for complete vehicles and forwarding divisions. In addition new jobs will be created, as the company informs in a press release.

“Through joining our branches in Zettling we create further synergies in Sytria, which is an important region for automotive activities, boost our presence and will be able to increase our local staff thanks to the positive market development“, explains Christian Moser, Sales and Marketing Manager Gefco Austria.

In addition to good development opportunities the site in Zettling offers ideal transport links and allows to combine road and rail transport. From its new site Gefco will organise among others daily groupage services to France and Turkey.

Gefco is the European market leader in the segment of automotive logistics, covering the entire range of logistics from worldwide procurement of production parts to distribution of entire vehicles. The allround logistician offers full range logistics from one source, including customised multi-modal solutions, inbound, sequencing, empty return and warehousing.
