Gefco Romania: five years of operative activity
Around 150 local customers use the know-how of the Romanian company of the Gefco Group
Gefco Romania has recently celebrated its five-years jubilee. The subsidiary of the French Gefco Group has 82 employees at two logistics sites (Arad, Bucharest) and three automotive centres (Mioveni, Curtici, Bucharest). With their widely ranged product portfolio they established a local customer base of about 150 companies. Having achieved a turnover of EUR 22 million in the first three quarters of the year 2010 the management sees their position in the Romanian market consolidated. “During our five years presence in Romania we were able to win the trust of many customers thanks to the quality of our services and our strategy, which is based on environmental protection and technological innovation,” says Christophe De Korver, managing director Gefco Romania. “The success of our national company can also be explained by the development and implementation of complex logistics solutions such as multimodal transport by rail, air and sea or warehousing logistics,” he adds.
