Loxxess AG: New ownership structure and modified strategy

Specialist for complex outsourcing projects Loxxess AG considers internationalisation through company acquisitions in Europe

Loxxess AG (Tegernsee) has changed its ownership structure. Since 31 December 2010 the siblings Christina Amberger and Dr. Claus-Peter Amberger are holding 74.8 per cent of the shares. The rest is held by the founder and longstanding CEO of the company Peter Amberger (64), who is now chairman of the supervisory board. The new majority shareholders are part of the Loxxess group’s top management team. Christina Amberger (30) has been in the management, responsible for marketing since 2010. Claus-Peter Amberger (37) has been working as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since 2009.

According to Christina Amberger the focus of the future development lies on logistics centres, EDP, product portfolio and internationalisation. “Loxxess will concentrate on the expansion of own logistics centres at a size of 25,000 to 40,000 m² and rent fewer objects. We will enlarge our product portfolio by adding new financial services for operative purchasing, but also additional repair solutions and combined logistics and call centre services. EDP is our core competence, in which we are going to invest continuously“, she explains the key objectives of the strategy. Acquisitions in Germany’s neighbouring countries might drive the internationalisation of their offering as she elaborates.

Loxxess AG with its headquarters in Tegernsee (Germany) is specialising in complex outsourcing projects of industrial and trade logistics. They develop and implement customised logistics and fulfilment solutions based on individual concepts for customers from various branches. Their services are ranging from distribution and procurement solutions to customer specific value-added services in the fields of customer service, product processing, debtor management and e-business. About 1,600 employees operate around 600,000 m² warehousing space at 28 logistics sites in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland.
