Gerdes resigns from Deutsche Post DHL board

Jürgen Gerdes is stepping down as member of the management board responsible for Corporate Incubations at Deutsche Post DHL Group after a disagreement over future strategy.

In a statement, the board said: “The Group and Jürgen Gerdes have agreed on an early termination of his board membership by mutual consent and on the best of terms amid diverging views on the future strategic focus of the company. Gerdes steps down from his mandate as of today and will leave the company by 30th June 2018.”

The board mandate for Corporate Incubations will be taken over by Thomas Ogilvie, Member of the Board for Personnel and Labour Director.
