Gist adds Irish height-compliant trailers to fleet

Gist has purchased seven trailers for use in the Irish temperature-controlled market. The new trailers comply with the Republic of Ireland’s height restrictions, the new trailers are built to a height of 4.65m, rather than the standard 4.9m.

In the last year Gist has added 53 double-deck trailers to their fleet, which have an increased pallet capacity of over 50 per cent compared to a standard 26 pallet trailer.

All new trailers will be able to carry higher volumes of temperature-sensitive goods per vehicle, while still meeting current regulations. All new trailers are made to meet Gist’s delivery requirements for high street and supermarket retailers.
