Global Express invests a further EUR 1.2 million in Kalsdorf

Global Express, a memeber of the GO! Express system group, adds more office and storage space to its logistics facility in Kalsdorf near Graz

Global Express is adding another building to its logistics facility in Kalsdorf near Graz, which had been completed in January 2014. Investing EUR 1.2 million, the company will build a 500 m² hall with integrated office space and 700 m² covered warehouse area until the end of January 2015.

Founded in 2001 by CEO Rolf Hadolt, the Global Express company employs around 110 persons at two locations in Austria (Graz, Villach) and Slovenia (Marburg, Ljubljana) and at offices Croatia (Zagreb), Germany (Passau) and England (Birmingham). Carrying 350,000 shipments resulted in 2013 annual sales of EUR 14 million.

As a member of the GO! Express system group with responsibility for the provinces of Styria and Carinthia, Global Express operates a fleet of currently around 60 vehicles from small vans to 18 tonnes-trucks. The company specialises in the fast processing of small and general goods, and in particular in-house managed surface transport the provinces of Styria (including Southern Burgenland) and Carinthia as well as the economic areas in Slovenia and Croatia.
