Greiwing consolidates market appearance in southern Germany

New logistics centre of Greiwing logistics for you GmbH in Leipheim receives first demands from the alpine region
 
Greiwing logistics for you GmbH announces the completion of a major investment at the amount of EUR 10 million. To expand their national presence, the silo logistician constructed an office building, two logistics halls for food and non-food, a high silo facility, a garage and a modern cleaning facility for tank and silo trailers near Ulm, and opened it on 19 July. The facility is the start of a stronger commitment of the company in southern Germany. 80 jobs were created and more staff might be needed in the segments warehousing and drivers.
 
With this new location Greiwing wants to address shippers from southern Germany. "The connection to the motorways A8 and A7 and the junction Ulm-Elchingen, as well as the vicinity to the cargo handling centres Ulm and Augsburg we have a very advantageous location in southern Germany. We have received first demands from the Alpine region and Lake Constance region", says managing director Klaus Beckonert. The previous location Ulm was closed due to lacking development options. All employees moved to Leipheim as well.
 
Greiwing logistics for you GmbH is an internationally operating specialist for full range solutions in silo logistics. The company headquartered in Greven, Westphalia has eight locations in Germany with more than 470 employees and generates annual turnover of about EUR 80 million. their services include conventional and combined transport, warehousing and handling.
