Heineken win for mda
Heineken has awarded POS fulfilment specialist mda a contract to handle its POS fulfilment services across the UK, in a bid to improve service levels.
Heineken is one of the world’s largest brewers, and the name behind brands including Foster’s, Strongbow, Kronenbourg 1664, Bulmers, Desperados, and John Smith’s.
90 per cent of all beer sold in the UK by Heineken is also brewed in the country.
The company decided to move its POS fulfilment requirement to mda, after a review process, during which it looked at mda’s team, facilities, and overall capabilities.
“We were particularly impressed with their commitment to innovations and online system technologies, while their experience and understanding of the drinks industry we operate in was unrivalled,“ said UK operations manager at Heineken, Malcolm Hall.
„As a result of moving our requirements to mda, Heineken will be receiving significant customer service support, excellent service levels and a great deal of added value through best practice and new initiatives that we could not have achieved anywhere else.”
