DB Schenker is accredited as Qualified Envirotainer Provider in Europe and Asia DB Schenker has gained Accreditation as a Qualified Envirotainer Provider (QEP) at its stations in Brussels, Basel, Frankfurt, Geneva, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Vienna and Zurich as well Singapore by Envirotainer AB, a market leading provider of active temperature-controlled air cargo containers. Thus the worldwide active logistics enterprise can handle temperature sensitive shipments in in Envirotainer containers in accordance with the directives for shipping of medical products. With its QEP / CEP Training and Quality Program Envirotainer accredits (QEP) or certifies (CEP) those service providers that are capable of managing shipments using Envirotainer containers, meeting standard quality criteria (Good Distribution Practices, Parenteral Drug Association, IATA). “DB Schenker plans on expanding its QEP Accreditation, to support the customers´ requirements for the temperature controlled supply chain on a global scale”, said Bob Gahan, VP Global Sales, Health Care, DB Schenker.
