Hödlmayr operates new car distribution facility of Porsche Austria
15 new jobs: Hödlmayr Logistics completes reconstruction of Porsche Austria-vehicle logistics warehouse in Wiener Neustadt
Hödlmayr Logistics announces the completion of the reconstruction of the vehicle logistics warehouse in Wiener Neustadt, which had started in started in mid-June 2013. The facility covers a total area of 77,000 m² and offers storage capacity for about 1,600 vehicles, or delivery volume of 40,000 vehicles per year. As a result of the reconstruction Hödlmayr’s service portfolio has increased. For the additional activities staff was doubled through creating 15 new jobs.
“With the investments into technical infrastructure we are starting a new chapter of technical opportunities in greater Vienna“, says spokesperson of the board Johannes Hödlmayr. Following the acquisition of the vehicle logistics warehouse of Porsche Austria GmbH&CoOG in Wiener Neustadt in March 2013 Hödlmayr Logistics GmbH also has a modern logistics centre in the east of Austria. Hödlmayr is now also in charge of operation of the new car distribution facility including technical and logistic services.
Hödlmayr offers brand-independent comprehensive services such as warehouse management, vehicle preparation or buy back processes. At the start of October a hall for vehicle preservation and automatic car wash was put into operation as well. In Austria Hödlmayr is operating three locations: Schwertberg, Graz and Wiener Neustadt.
