Hub Group acquires Domestic Transport

Hub Group’s subsidiary, Comtrak Logistics, has acquired certain assets of Domestic Transport, effective June 3rd.

The acquisition of the Pacific, Washington-based intermodal drayage carrier gives Comtrak a significant drayage operation in the Seattle market.

Domestic Transport’s owners will continue in leadership roles with Comtrak Logistics: Leon Borodyansky will be the Terminal manager and Kirill Korchinsky will be the Safety & Recruiting manager for Comtrak’s newly formed Pacific Northwest Terminal.

Comtrak now has 25 terminals and a network of offices throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.

Founded in 2005 with one truck hauling containers out of the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma, Domestic Transport now has a 22-driver operation that handles container deliveries in the state of Washington and throughout the Pacific Northwest.
