Iberia Cargo joins Cargo 2000

IBERIA Cargo has become the 29th international air cargo carrier to commit to Cargo 2000’s quality management system.

Juan Ignacio Díez Barturen, senior vice president of Iberia Cargo, reaffirmed the carrier’s commitment to constant improvement: "Cargo 2000 is the standard that is well recognised in the sector and has been developed by the industry for the industry and with a clear focus on process improvements."

Fernando Terol Armas, the airline’s vice president – Commercial, added: "Quality and continued improvement is a must in this industry, especially if you’re an expert in perishables like Iberia Cargo."

Iberia Cargo operates daily or twice-daily services between Europe and almost all countries in Latin America, transporting more than 240,000 tonnes of freight every year.

Cargo 2000’s membership is now at its highest ever level, with 76 members including major airlines, freight forwarders, ground handlers, trucking companies and IT providers
