IDC Energy Insights Bolsters Worldwide Oil & Gas Analyst Team

IDC Energy Insights announced today the addition of two industry analysts to its Worldwide Oil & Gas team. With additions in the Dubai and Massachusetts offices, IDC Energy Insights extends its global coverage to offer energy companies the most comprehensive business technology and application advice in the market today.

Lamia Lafdil, located in the Dubai office, has been hired as Senior Research Analyst to support the Worldwide Oil and Gas IT Strategies research advisory service, as well as the regional Middle East & Africa IT Opportunity: Oil & Gas program, and will serve as the lead analyst for digital oil field/integrated operations and related topics. Prior to joining IDC Energy Insights, she held business analyst positions with Total in Dubai and with Shell in The Hague and in Morocco. She is fluent in Arabic, French and English. Lamia will contribute to the IDC Energy Insights blog in the IDC Energy Insights Community and her Twitter handle is @lamialafdil.

Usman Sindhu, located in the Framingham, Massachusetts office, has been hired as Senior Research Analyst, supporting the Intelligent Grid Strategies and Worldwide Oil and Gas IT Strategies research advisory services. He will be the lead analyst for security-related topics in the utilities and oil and gas segments, as well as provide support for other energy industry technologies and applications. Prior to joining IDC Energy Insights, Usman was with Forrester Research, where he specialized in security and risk. Usman contributes to the IDC Energy Insights Community and his Twitter handle is @usmansindhu.
