iForce, a subsidiary of Eddie Stobart, will process a 6.8 items every second this Black Friday, and dispatch more than 2.4 million units throughout ‘Cyber Week’.
It is estimated that the UK will see a spend of more than £5 billion over the Black Friday period, as reported by Finder, and iForce is set to deliver a record number of items due to the demand.
As part of peak activity during the festive season, the company also anticipates that it will build, pack and despatch over 200,000 Christmas hampers to keep up with consumer demand during the busy retail period.
Paul Thirkell, operations director at iForce said: “From our eight locations, totalling 2.1m sq. ft, a dedicated team of over 2,500 staff will be working hard to ensure we exceed demands and deliver on behalf of our customers.”
