IGS Logistics Group (Hamburg) has gained a foothold in Austria recently. IGS Schreiner GmbH based in Frauendorf an der Au near Vienna has started operating on August 1, 2013. The new location headed by Thomas Bennersdorfer organises daily transports via truck and combined rail transport to Scandinavia. Moreover the location in Hamburg provides connections to several system alliances.
IGS Schreiner operates a forwarding facility with 2,000 m² storage and transhipment area in Frauendorf. Their own fleet operates throughout Austria and on several international routes. The service range covers transportations and goods storage as well as customs clearance. Their status of the known shipper guarantees a secure and gapless supply chain.
The IGS Logistics Group Holding GmbH includes several autonomously operating subsidiaries. Together they offer a broad range of services in the segments forwarding, contract, storage and container logistics. The private enterprise employs a staff of 480 at locations in Germany, Poland and Austria.
