JCL Logistics plans continued expansion in Eastern Europe

Specialist for transport- and product logistics JCL AG plans to set up two to three new national subsidiaries in Eastern and Southeastern Europe in 2012

After opening branches in Romania (Bucharest), Lithuania (Vilnius and Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg) in the second half 2011, preparations for the implementation of additional expansion steps in Eastern and Southeastern Europe are under way with the JCL Logistics Group. In an interview with the Österreichische Verkehrszeitung, Stephan Jöbstl announces the foundation of two to three additional national subsidiaries for the next year. The transport-logistics requirements of their key customers will be a main factor regarding the type of location and the site itself, the forwarder announces. He plans to share details regarding the expansion of the organisation in the CEE/SEE at a later date.

JCL Logistics with headquarters in Graz renders services in national/international transport- and product logistics. The private enterprise showed enormous growth in the last couple of years. Presently the company network comprises 65 branches in 28 countries  in Europe and Asia. In the business year 2011 the 1.900 employees generated a turnover of 580 million Euros.
