Kimberly Clark picks Harlequin for distribution contract

Harlequin Logistics has signed a long-term distribution contract with Kimberly Clark.

Kimberly Clark has given Harlequin the responsibility for deliveries from Chorley and Northfleet to its customer base in the Midlands and Southern England. This includes a wide range of retailer regional Distribution Centre’s plus wholesale and cash and carry outlets.

Due to the high cube nature of the load, John Raymond Transport, Jack Richards and Son and Currie European Transport will be handling the majority of the transport for Harlequin.

Harlequin is expected to fulfil upwards of 5,000 loads a year.

Harlequin celebrates the third anniversary of its launch. Harlequin is part owned by five private hauliers and managing director Paul Smith.
