KN Austria: New general cargo service from/to the UK

Kuehne + Nagel Austria completes its international general cargo portfolio with regular services from and to Great Britain

KN group’s takeover of the RH Freight forwarding group last year leads now to an enhanced portfolio for liner services for international general cargo with Kuehne + Nagel Austria. In a press release the enterprise announces the installation of a fast, regular service between the central hub in Vienna and Nottingham in the United Kingdom.

The new direct transport includes a daily import service, and two weekly export lines from Austria. The departures from Austria are Kuehne + Nagel Austria’s response to the increasing export volume of industrial goods to Great Britain. The newly installed house-to-house delivery service could guarantee short, reliable transit times, as the enterprise informs.

RH Freight headquartered in Nottingham was established 40 years ago and is the market leader in the segment general cargo between continental Europe and the Great Britain. The enterprise has about 700 employees at 19 locations in Great Britain and at two stations in Finland. About 425,000 shipments per year are passing the hubs in Nottingham and southeast London.
