Lagermax joins the Elvis part loads cooperative

With 1 February 2015, Lagermax Internationale Spedition GmbH (Salzburg) became a partner of Elvis Teilladungssystem GmbH

Lagermax Spedition expands its service portfolio in European road transport. Apart from its general cargo cooperation with 24plus Systemverkehre, the forwarding company has become a partner of the Elvis network in the segment of hub-based part loads (LTL).

The international transport and logistics company Lagermax Internationale Spedition GmbH operates on behald of Elvis, Europäischer Ladungs-Verbund Internationaler Spediteure, as a system partner in the LTL segment for markets throughout Southeast Europe. The Lagermax headquarters in Salzburg are serving as a hub.

The Lagermax forwarding company in Salzburg is an Austrian platform and a hub for South East Europe. The foreign subsidiary, Lagermax Spedice a Logistika s.r.o. with headquarters in Prague acts as a reception partner for the Czech Republic and Slovakia and is also directly connected to the Elvis hub in Knüllwald / Remsfeld.

This increases part-load volumes, and incoming volumes for distribution in both countries, emphasised the Lagermax managers. Additionally, the new partnership strengthens Lagermax’ network towards the export markets – Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.

The part loads cooperation of Lagermax and Elvis offers shippers standard prices, transparent price structures and international quality standards. In the part loads segment Lagermax Spedition offers special services regarding the handling and distribution of oversized goods, as well as in terms of weight limits per piece.

Therefore, it is possible to systematically handle goods with a length of up to 6.5 meters and a weight of up to 3,000 kilograms. For this segment Lagermax has special transport and manipulation equipment.

The Lagermax corporate group has 54 own branches in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and Turkey, and offers an advanced distribution network meeting all customer demands. The 3,125 employees generated turnover of EUR 390 million in 2013.
