Larger facilities for Raben Logistics Germany
Raben Logistics Germany launches expansion program in response to growing market for transport and logistics services With the official opening of the enlarged logistics facility at the location in Mittenwalde and the construction of a new freight forwarding terminal in Wuppertal Raben Group creates the basis for stable growth and additional jobs. Warehousing capacity in Mittenwalde was enlarged to 6,100 square metres. One of the site’s special features is the new 2,000 sq. m. cross docking warehouse and a digital surveillance system. Raben Logistics Germany has 8 locations in Mönchengladbach, Aachen, Wuppertal, Würzburg, Nuremberg, Regensburg, Mittenwalde and Prenzlau as a member of System Alliance Germany and Europe. In Germany the enterprise has 510 employees on its payroll. The parent company Raben Group offers logistic solutions with road, sea and air freight transportations along the full supply chain. On a total area of 450,000 sq. m. in 10 European countries the group’s 4,700 employees provide a wide range of transport and logistics services.
