Hödlmayr takes over Styrian competitor

Hödlmayr is to take over the vehicle transport division of the Styrian competitor Tatschl & Söhne

effective 1 April 2011

 

Hödlmayr Logistics Austria based in Schwertberg buys and takes over the vehicles transport division of the Styrian competitor Tatschl & Söhne Speditions- und Transport GmbH from Liezen, effective 1 April 2011. This means Hödlmayr takes over 100 employees, 90 car transporters and also the transport volume of about 150,000 vehicles per year. They reached the agreement about taking over the vehicles transport division of Tatschl & Söhne with the owner Josef Tatschl on Thursday 31 March 2011. Both parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

The acquisition enables Hödlmayr International to optimise its international transport network. Johannes Hödlmayr, Spokesman of the management board of Hödlmayr International AG comments: „This constellation, combined with the goods distribution centres in 13 countries offers our customers a complete technical service portfolio.“

The Hödlmayr group offers vehicle transportation, treatment and technology in 13 countries throughout Europe. With this takeover the Hödlmayr International group surpasses the million-benchmark in transport volume.
