Schwarzmüller, a premium manufacturer based in Upper Austria, offers several hundred used commercial vehicles of its own brand as well as numerous other brands for sale. The used vehicles come from all segments of the full range provider, however, most are construction and disposal vehicles as well as long-distance trailers.
“The long service life of our vehicles is the key to this interesting business segment,” explains Roland Hartwig, CEO Schwarzmüller. The demand, primarily from Eastern and Southern Europe as well as from the Arab countries, was so high because the premium vehicles were still fully operational even after a long runtime.
The used vehicles are currently offered in Austria at the Wels location and mostly come from the fleet of Schwarzmüller customers. A quick and easy overview of the available vehicles is provided by the new website used.schwarzmueller.com. In the future, the used vehicles of the production sites in Budapest (HU) and Zebrak (CZ) will also be offered there, and thus the complete range of the Schwarzmüller Group will be available at the click of a button, announces Roland Hartwig.
Of course, the price advantage over new vehicles play a role, according to Schwarzmüller’s CEO. “Many customers also use the service if they need special vehicles at short notice or to cover seasonal peaks.”
The used vehicles undergo a detailed inspection before they are on sale. If necessary, own brand vehicles are equipped with original Schwarzmüller spare parts. In addition to the technical examination, the age of the vehicle, the duration of use and the general condition are precisely documented. All vehicles can be specially prepared according to customer requirements and delivered on short notice.
