LGI attends to new logistics order for Siemens

LGI Logistics Group International takes over warehousing logistics and the European transport network for Siemens’ Security Products

 

In the frame of a tender the logistics service provider LGI Logistics Group International was able to win against reputable competitors and implemented for Siemens AB in Sweden an innovative logistics concept. Since recently the enterprise is in charge of distribution logistics and transport handling of Siemens’ Security Products division. The cooperation has started simultaneously at three European LGI branches in Sweden, the UK and Germany. Departing from Malmö, Milton Keynes and Böblingen, partners and end customers of Security Products are supplied globally with products for building security.

„In addition to classic logistics and transport services, our full package comprises also value added services such as complete customs handling, handling of dangerous goods, further value added processes as well as an integrated Track&Trace platform along the full supply chain“, exlpains Markus Ziegler, Manager Business Unit Electronics LGI Logistics Group International.
