TNT Innight Austria: Positive balance for 2008
The Management of the TNT Innight Austria GmbH is expecting a stable business development for the financial year 2009. “As we are mainly operating in the After Sales-segment, I don’t expect substantial impacts on our activities. Therefore we will implement further investments to improve our services during the coming months“, says Managing Director Thomas Bauer. In the financial year 2008 TNT Innight Austria beat all expectations. Thanks to solid business transactions with regular customers and the strongly growing demand for international service concepts, turnover rose 15 per cent compared to 2007. According to Mr. Bauer, the company was able to achieve a solid profit despite the growing cost-pressure. In 2008 the complete TNT Innight Group rendered services in 8 European countries and achieved a 7%-increase in turnover to a total of EUR 300 million. TNT Innight Austria acts as a specialist for after sales logistics and overnight express services and organises delivery of time-sensitive consignments before 8 a.m. and value added services such as returns handling, SWAP-services and warehousing to optimise spare-parts logistics for its customers.
