Start of Lufthansa Cargo freighter service to Guadalajara

Lufthansa Cargo extends its network to Mexico

Lufthansa Cargo AG expands its Mexico-schedule that had so far been concentrated on regular flights to Mexico City. As of 22 July 2009, for the first time Lufthansa Cargo will be offering a connection to Guadalajara (GDL). Once a week, a MD-11F freighter will fly to the metropolis with its population of some millions, which is also known as the "Silicon Valley of Mexico" among experts.

The aircraft offers 90 tons of air freight capacity and takes off on Wednesdays in Frankfurt and flies to Mexico. On the flights to/from Guadalajara the regular service has a stopover in Dallas/Fort Worth in both directions.
