Linkline Transport to move to 140,000 sq ft facility in 2020

Fortec member Linkline Transport is set to move to a “state-of-the-art” 140,000 sq ft site in 2020.

The Northamptonshire-based company will be moving into a new facility in Prologis Park Wellingborough West early next year. The site has the capacity for 31,000 pallets, and will also feature a fully covered loading and unloading canopy.

The new-build has a multi-bay racking system, including a a 50,000 sq ft mezzanine floor, and its warehouse management system will integrate customers with in-house systems.

Tom Ball, general manager at Linkline Transport, said: “We’re consolidating the transport and warehouse operations to function under one roof which results in closer controls and increased productivity.”
