Loaf.com picks Wincanton for distribution

Homeware company, Loaf.com, has awarded a multi-channel distribution contract to Wincanton.

The contract is based at Wincanton’s multi-user warehouse site in Greenford, West London, and uses a two-man „white glove“ service make deliveries direct to Loaf’s customers across the UK. Wincanton will also oversee the distribution of individual packages.

Charlie Marshall, Loaf’s founder, said: „Loaf is founded on the idea of making the shopping and delivery process as hassle-free and friendly as possible. I’m confident that Wincanton will help us to continue to look after our customers really, really well.“

Loaf has seen average annual sales growth of 81 per cent over the last three years with a current yearly turnover of £20 million.

Over the next few years, the plan is to roll out a series of out of town retail destinations called ‘Loaf Shacks‘, starting in London and the South East. It has targeted sales of £100m in the next few years.
