Loxx to serve Russia, CIS and Central Asia with once weekly services as new partner of 24plus

24plus logistics network has a new partner for Russia, the CIS and Central Asia. As of May 15, Loxx Logistics GmbH based in Gelsenkirchen is an official partner and accepts 24plus shipments. In addition to the services via Moscow and St. Petersburg Loxx also serves directly destinations throughout Russia and in Kazakhstan. Customs clearance is made at the destination.

Departure of the LCL direct routes to Russia is carried out once a week from Gelsenkirchen. The trucks arrive at the subsidiary Loxx Sp. zo.o. in Warsaw, where shipments from Poland as well as from the Southeastern European region are added, before the final destination is called. In addition to overland routes, Loxx offers rail loading via the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Baikal-Amur Mainline. The time needed to cover the almost 12,000 kilometres to Vladivostok, is 36 days.

Peter Baumann, Managing Director 24plus, expects a rising shipment volume from the 24plus network to Russia and Central Asia. Today, Loxx directly approaches 14 Russian destinations, eleven of them in the Ural region and in Siberia. Moreover, Loxx services all Central Asian states as well as the states of the Caucasus region with overland transports.
