Loxxess AG extends its multi-channel location in the Czech Republic

Loxxess AG has expanded its multi-channel location in the Czech Republic. The logistics and fulfillment specialist has commissioned an additional building in Bor. On an area of ​​around 22,500 m², 9,800 m² of logistics space and around 1,500 m² of office and social space were created within seven months. The Bor site now has a total of 87,000 m² of logistics space available.

The logistics center near the German-Czech border is ideally connected to the German road network. There, the company has a total of around 47,000 pallet spaces, more than 220,000 shelf spaces and delivers around 5.8 million parcels per year. The new building has 13,500 pallet spaces, 1,600 shelf spaces and 320 flow racks.

The new hall is equipped with a new warehouse management system, state-of-the-art hardware and an air-conditioned hazardous goods warehouse. The employees at the Bor site are cross-project trained, thus equaling order peaks and enabling short-term delivery in the fast-paced online business.

Claus-Peter Amberger, CEO of Loxxess AG, explains: “At present, business models and customer needs, driven by digitization, are changing very fast, especially in ​​e-commerce. Our focus will remain on generating added value for our customers, and we believe we can achieve this through innovative solutions.”

Loxxess offers fulfillment from the call center via warehouse logistics to debtor management. The logistics service provider is specialising in complex outsourcing projects for industrial and commercial logistics. Headquartered in Tegernsee, Loxxess AG employs around 1,600 people, has 27 locations in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland and manages 600,000 m² of warehouse space.
