Maersk Line extends AE10 service to Gdansk

DCT Gdansk directly linked to Asia by Maersk Line

Boris Wenzel, CEO of DCT Gdansk, speaks of an historical moment. He hit the nail on the head. The Danish container shipping company Maersk Line integrated the Polish deep water terminal into their intercontinental route network. As of December DCT Gdansk will be part of the schedule of the AE 10 service from Asia to Europe and return. Thus they advance to a new hub of the Baltic Sea, Mr. Wenzel announces proudly.

As of December Maersk Line’s AE 10 service will operate the following port rotation in a weekly rhythm: Ningbo, Shanghai, Kaohsiung, Yantian, Hong Kong, Tanjung Pelepas, Le Havre, Zeebrugge, Gdansk, Göteborg, Aarhus, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kobe, Nagoya, Shimizu, Yokohama, Ningbo. The service will be operated with vessels offering a capacity of 8,000 TEU.
