Mainfreight to purchase Wim Bosman Group

New Zealand-based Mainfreight has entered into an agreement to acquire the Netherlands-based Wim Bosman Group.

 

The deal ensures continuity for Wim Bosman’s employees and customers, and activities will continue under the name Wim Bosman.

The agreement excludes real estate, which will remain under control of Mr and Mrs Bosman.

The acquisition will provide an excellent platform for both companies to expand the business and service offering globally.

It will also establish a significant footprint for Mainfreight within Europe, and will enable Wim Bosman to expand its worldwide logistic services.

Mainfreight has 166 locations in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the US. The agreement will enable the company to establish a significant footprint within Europe.

With a comprehensive European network including sixteen branches in seven countries and more than 340,000 m2 of warehousing space, the agreement will enable Wim Bosman to expand its worldwide logistics services.
