Mann+Hummel: Da capo for Ceva Logistics
Ceva Logistics will be in charge of Mann+Hummel’s aftermarket logistics further on. Ranking among the world’s leading manufacturers of filtration and intake systems in the automotive industry, the enterprise based in Niederaichbach (Germany) prolonged its cooperation with the specialist for supply chain solutions until 2014. Ceva Logistics is operating Mann+Hummel’s aftermarket logistics warehouse in Niederaichbach since 2002. On a total area of about 17,000 square metres products are received, issued, dispatched, quality is controlled, and customs for imported and exported goods are cleared. Each day, several hundred thousand oil and air filters are commissioned and packaged before leaving the warehouse for use in over 55 countries throughout the world. Thanks to a professional integration of CEVA with Mann+Hummel’s logistical processes during the past seven years, we have improved efficiency and quality and reduced costs“, Thomas Mangold, Head of aftermarket logistics at Mann+Hummel, stated the reasons for the prolongation of the cooperation.
