Michael Jackl joined Reichhart Logistik group 25 years ago
Reichhart Logistik group, Bavaria, headed by Michael Jackel as managing director has become a specialist for contract logistics
Michael Jackl, managing associate of the Reichhart Logistik group, celebrated his 25-years jubilee with the company from Gilching at the start of the month. After he graduated with a degree in business administration at LMU Munich, he started his career as assistant of the management with Reichhart. At that time the transport service provider had about 80 employees, generating annual turnover of about EUR 14 million.
In 1991 Michael Jackl was appointed managing director of Reichhart GmbH & Co. KG. Then he started to develop the company into a specialist for supply chain management. In the year 2000 a designated contract logistics division was established. At the same time Michael Jackl became managing director of the corporate group. Since then he is heading the company together with Alexander Reichhart in task sharing.
Today the Reichhart Logistik group has more than 700 employees at 17 locations in Germany, France and Austria and generates about EUR 66 million in turnover in 2013. The company’s trademark are innovative performances in the segments of sequencing, assembly and production as well as network-oriented optimisation of capacity utilisation within transport logistic tasks.
During an internal celebration at the company headquarters in Gilching Alexander Reichhart honoured the merits of Michael Jackl on behalf of the company as follows: “Passion for solutions – also the company’s slogan – has always defined his action. We are looking forward to spend many more successful and exciting years full of solutions with Michael Jackl.”
