Ministry of Transport founds innovative brand “Austrian Logistics”

The “Austrian Logistics” umbrella brand was founded by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology as part of the logistics initiative – together with the Federal Association for Logistics Austria, the Federation of Industrialists, the Association Network Logistics, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and the Central Association for Forwarding & Logistics. The project was carried out jointly by the companies marketmind and Spirit Design.

The aim is to highlight the excellent services provided by Austrian logistics companies throughout the world. In addition, this shall demonstrate the holistic benefits of the discipline of logistics and its networking contribution to the economy.

Norbert Hofer, Minister of Transport: “The result of this joint process is a modern brand design for the “Austrian Logistics” umbrella brand. It stands for excellence and innovation in the discipline of logistics and is a symbol of new openness and cooperation. I thank all those involved for the excellent cooperation and look forward to taking further steps.”

“Austrian Logistics” is the joint brand image of the discipline of logistics in Austria towards other countries. The brand strengthens the reputation of “Austrian logistics” companies among all stakeholders – thus all persons who are involved in or affected by logistics services in any way. The brand communicates the advantages of Austria’s logistics as a pioneering, resource-saving, high-quality and innovative discipline that enhances the prosperity of all.

The brand “Austrian Logistics” emphasises the excellent performance of Austrian logistics and focuses on companies that are successfully breaking new ground with commitment and innovative strength. The focus is on those companies that perform excellently in economic terms and at the same time exercise their social responsibility. Another focus of Austrian Logistics is on professional and future-oriented training.
