M&M and TransNatur intensify cooperation
Militzer & Münch becomes partner of TransNatur in eleven East European and Central Asian countries The internationally acting provider of transport logistics services Militzer & Münch, headquartered in St. Gallen (Switzerland) expands its strategic alliance with the Spanish traditional company TransNatur S.A., headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, as of 1 February this year. Both companies agreed to handle all consignments between the Iberian Peninsula and eleven countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia exclusively with the respective partner. The cooperation applies to groupage, part and full truck loads, as well as for air and sea freight consignments. “Our national companies in Morocco and Tunisia have been cooperating successfully for years with TransNatur. Recently the cooperation with our company in Romania was started. In the future also our clients in Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia will profit from the alliance“, says Ewald Kaiser, Chief Executive Officer of M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding AG. It is already planned to further enhance the partnership. With the next step the cooperation shall be expanded to Algeria, Libya and Iran. The TransNatur network comprises 14 locations in Spain and Portugal, where more than 500 employees are at work. The enterprise is particularly in the field of TIR groupage cargo transport a market leader in Spain. Own bonded warehouses and clearance agents guarantee a quick cargo throughput for imports and exports. |
