M&M considerably expanded terminal capacities at Hof

With a significant investment the international forwarding and logistics group M&M Militzer & Münch created the basis for further growth at its German headquarters in Hof/Oberfranken – it expanded the terminal capacities considerably. According to a press release of the management, this was a response to the increased requirements to modern transport and logistics services.

On November 8, the newly acquired facility in the industrial area Hohensaas in the suburbs of Hof bezogen. From now on this location concentrates the whole throughput handling of national and international traffics and forwarding activities. The handling hall is equipped with 67 gates and is situated on a 34,400 square metres area.

The contract logistic activities, which show considerable growth rates, will be continued at the two former locations in Hof and also adapted to the new requirements as far as necessary. These locations provide a total of around 33,000 square metres halls and storage area.

M&M Militzer & Münch considers establishing new products in Hof on the long term. „This may also include the reactivation of the existing branch line at one of our terminals“, Harald Mazarin, General Manager of M&M Militzer & Münch Deutsche Holding GmbH, sketches the options for a further development.
