Prangl group launches new investments for the future

Following the acquisition of new work platforms, telescopic stackers and cranes the Prangl group plans to adjust its transport equipment

Pangl Gesellschaft m.b.H. based in Brunn am Gebirge near Vienna is preparing to continue modernising its equipment pool. In a press release Managing Director Mag. Christian Prangl announced further steps to adjust the transport equipment, so the company will be able to fully satisfy the requirements of their customers in this segment as well.

In order to do justice to their reputation as a provider of high quality services, the company made considerable investment lately. Following the order of 650 work platforms and telescopic stackers at a total value of EUR 23 million, they have now also completed contracts at a value of about EUR 35 million to expand the crane fleet. Most of the devices has been delivered by now.

The name Prangl represents a special provider of solutions for difficult tasks related to the transport of oversized and overweight freight pieces. The core competence of the family enterprise established in 1965 is work platforms and crane rental as well as special transportations. The Prangl group has currently about 600 employees in 17 locations in Austria (Brunn am Gebirge, St. Pölten, St. Florian near Linz, Buch/Tyrol, Gratkorn, Poggersdorf), Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Romania. In the 2010/11 financial year they generated a turnover at EUR 75 million.
