Mondi Tire Kutsan celebrated its new name
Mondi Tire Kutsan celebrated its new name on July 6, 2010 with a big ceremony held at Esma Sultan in Istanbul. 250 important names from the sector and Mondi Tire Kutsan’s business partners attended the event. Tire Kutsan became part of Mondi’s Europe & International (E&I) Division in 2007 and was renamed ‘Mondi Tire Kutsan’ in April this year. The name change reflects the leading position of the company in the Turkish corrugated packaging market, which successfully built a trusted brand for 36 years and its integration into the Mondi Group in 2007. In the event, Mr. Thomas Ott, CEO of Corrugated Packaging of Mondi Europe & International and also Chairman of Mondi Tire Kutsan made a speech and said, “Today, in fact, is just a beginning… A meeting for feeling the well-deserved pride of what has been done and what could be done in the future… It’s time to take a closer look at the picture which was created with utmost efforts of each of us. Together Mondi and Tire Kutsan have more than 200 years of experience in the paper and packaging world and Mondi Tire Kutsan is a symbol of stability, improvement and strength of union for both the Turkish industry and Mondi. We are proud of combining this knowledge and the new brand name ‘Mondi Tire Kutsan’ stands for a combination of a multinational Group with deep roots in the Turkish economy.” Mr. Ott thanked the team for their dedication and valuable contributions and added, “We want to make Mondi Tire Kutsan a jewel both for the Turkish industry and Mondi.
