New ferry service of TT-Line between Trelleborg and Świnoujście

TT-Line’s combined passenger and cargo service offers six weekly rotations between southern Sweden and Poland from early January

TT-Line, a ferry shipping company, adds a new route between Trelleborg (Sweden) and Świnoujście, Poland to its schedule. From early January 2014 the company operates a new combined passenger and cargo service on this route. The deployed ferry ship MS Nils Dacke has 163 cabins and can loading capacity of more than 2,200 load metres. The vessel operates daily except for Sundays.

Through this new service TT-Line strengthens the south-Swedish port of Trelleborg as an important traffic hub. With the two additional passages the company operates up to 16 daily departures on the three major transport routes between Trelleborg and Travemünde, Rostock and Świnoujście.

TT-Line has been linking Germany and Sweden since 1962. Transporting about 630,000 passengers and 330,000 cargo units per year, the shipping line is the market leader in passage and cargo transport between these two countries. More than 600 employees of the ferry line generate annual sales of about EUR 140 million. The German entrepreneurs Dr. Arend Oetker and Dr. Bernhard Termühlen are equally holding the shares of the Trampschiffahrt GmbH & Co. KG, the holding company of TT-Line.
