New lettings at St. Modwen Park Newport
A total of 76,000ft² of industrial and logistics space has been let by St. Modwen Logistics at St. Modwen Park Newport in Wales.
A 52,000ft² unit has been let to an undisclosed e-commerce businesses, with accident repair group Solus taking a separate 24,000ft² units at the scheme which will be used as a ‘centre for paint repair work’.
St. Modwen Park currently consists of units totalling c. 345,000ft², with other occupiers on the site including e-commerce giant and third-party logistics provider Amazon, as well as industrial equipment distributor Genpower and adhesive manufacturer Ureka.
The new units have been given an EPC ‘A’ rating, featuring LED lighting and photovoltaic (PV) panels. Additionally, the wider scheme has facilities for electric vehicle (EV) charging.

“We know how important access to the national transport infrastructure is for our customers and being placed at the gateway to South Wales makes Newport an ideal location for Solus and our community of businesses to thrive.
“There remains an acute undersupply of suitable logistics space in the region and we are continuing to explore opportunities to deliver even more space, including the possibility of a variety of bespoke, build-to-suit units up to 600,000ft² for interested companies.”
