New ro-ro service at Port of Lübeck
“Power Line“ from Lübeck to Sweden and Finland At the beginning of the week a new ro-ro liner service at the Port of Lübeck celebrated its start-up. The “Green Carrier“, equipped with 1,700 load metres of freight capacity, operates as of now in a triangle between Lübeck-Travemünde, Oxlösund in Sweden (around 115 kilometres in the south of Stockholm) and Turku in Finland. The schedule comprises departures in a weekly rhythm. The liner service is to start its journey to northern Europe every Monday in Lübeck at 7 p.m. 19. The “Green Carrier“ operates under the shipping company name “Power Line“. The vessels is owned by the Finish forwarding company Lillbacka, a big truck-client of the Port of Lübeck. The agent in Lübeck is the shipping agent Manfred Schröder. The service transports Lillbacka-trailers that are used in the northern-Italy traffic and all sort of ro-ro load, trailers in particular.
