New tasks for Wincanton on mainland Europe
| Wincanton Group renews contracts and manages logistics processes for reputable customers The Wincanton Group Management sees their Pan-European transport logistic concept confirmed by wins and renewals of major contracts that have been agreed in the past weeks. On behalf of the automotive manufacturer Porsche, the contract logistics specialist manages the procurement logistics of components and automotive parts for the plants in Leipzig and Stuttgart. In the markets in Central and Eastern Europe new contracts with customers such as Danone and Velux were landed, as the company states. As for renewals the prolongation of the cooperation with BAT, Goodyear and Henkel are of special importance. A major contract renewal was also made with GSK, a pharmaceutical group. Moreover the Management sees a positive sign in the growing orders to manage structural and engineering products into the oilfields of Kazakhstan for Europe’s major steel groups.
