News from Agility

Agility launches scheduled freighter service from China to Lithuania; and opens a new office in Kuching, East Malaysia.

Agility has introduced a scheduled freighter service that directly connects key origins in China via Shanghai to Kaunas in Lithuania.

With few freight options covering this routing, the new service delivers stable and faster access, helping customers move goods from China into the rapidly growing markets of Northern Europe, the Nordics, Russia and the Baltics.
The 107-ton capacity freighter will initially operate on a weekly basis.
The service forms part of a comprehensive logistics offering featuring additional supply chain solutions: pick-up and warehousing in China, customs clearance in Kaunas and warehousing in Lithuania.

Together with its partner in Lithuania, Hoptrans, Agility provides freight forwarding overland from Kaunas to a range of onward destinations including all major cities in the region. At the destination, customer options include customs clearance as well as warehousing in bonded and non-bonded facilities.
As part of the service and for the first time, Agility is offering its Air Freight Expedited product to countries where it was previously unavailable, as well as its Air Freight Premier product. Air Freight Expedited is available to Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Belarus, Poland and Finland, and the Air Freight Premier is available to Hungary, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine.

In other news, Agility has opened a new branch office in Kuching, East Malaysia to strengthen its presence in Sarawak and to provide a platform for further growth in the region.

Sarawak, on the island of Borneo, has a dynamic growing economy, and increasing numbers of multi-national technology companies are expanding their presence in Sarawak and opening manufacturing operations.

From its new office in Kuching, Agility provides international sea and air logistics services, customs clearance, warehousing and distribution solutions to locally-based and international network customers.

Agility also serves diverse industry sectors such as chemicals, project logistics, oil & gas, fairs & events and exhibitions.

Agility has more than 31,000 m² of warehouse space across its Malaysian network, and plans further investments in Sarawak and Sabah.
