Nike expands collaboration with H.Essers Group

To handle the volume of 14 containers per day, H. Essers will develop a new site in Belgium in a partnership with Group Machiels

H.Essers is an important partner of sportsbrand Nike for international security transports. Both parties believe in a collaborative and sustainable growth and extend their partnership with off-site storage. Therefore H.Essers will develop a new site in Beringen (B), in a partnership with Group Machiels, who will in turn move to a newly acquired premise at the Ford-site in Genk (B).

H.Essers will handle the volume of 14 containers per day, representing more than 20 milion pairs of shoes. Apart from sorting and storage, a daily shuttle from Beringen (B) to the Nike EDC in Laakdal will be operational. Operations will start up in challenging target timings. Proving high level flexibility, sustainability and security in the supply chain!
