Now even more storage capacity in the LZS Logistikzentrum Süd

The LZS Logistikzentrum Süd now has extended storage capacities. A new building with 3,000 m² of hall space hast just been completed and is now ready to fulfil its destiny, said managing directors Gerfried Greylinger and Alexander Menhofer to the Österreichische Verkehrszeitung.

Following final discussions with a prospective customer, the construction of another logistics building with 1,800 m² of covered area is to start shortly. In addition, the location in the market town of Leobersdorf will receive a photovoltaic system with 2.5 MW of production capacity, part of which will be included in the public electricity grid. The three projects generate additional added value for customers in the Lower Austrian industrial district. The total investment is around EUR 2.5 million.

So far, the family-owned company founded in 1999 with 20 permanent employees and around 10 seasonal workers, managed logistic halls with a 14 meter internal height and a capacity for 25,000 pallets on 24,000 m² of space in Leobersdorf and a 6,000 m² outdoor warehouse in the Weikersdorf. Both locations are fully utilized and have been the driving force behind the ongoing expansion program.

As an outsourcing partner of the industry, the LZS Logistikzentrum Süd coordinates all processes in connection with the factory disposal up to the IT-supported MHD and batch tracking. The scope ranges from picking up the finished goods with trucks to stocking with additional services such as repacking, packing, sorting, order picking and co-packing, all the way through to dispatch by the company’s own forwarding department.
