OBI enhances cooperation with Kuehne + Nagel in Poland
Polish company of Kuehne + Nagel celebrates its 20-years-jubilee and provides additional services for its customer OBI
Additional orders for its customer OBI are sweetening the 20-years-jubilee of the Polish company of the Kuehne + Nagel group. Apart from sea freight importations the worldwide acting transport and logistics service provider will take over warehousing and distribution logistics on behalf of the operator of DIY-stores. This means 40 OBI locations will be regularly supplied from the hub in Piotrkow Trybunalski (130 kilometres south of Warsaw).
In 1992 Kuehne + Nagel Poland started operating with a location in Poznan. Today they operate a network of 19 locations in 12 cities. Headed by Managing Director Tobias Jerschke about 1,900 employees provide services in the following segments: air/sea, road & rail, contract logistics services and lead logistics solutions. Kuehne + Nagel operates 190.000 m² covered warehousing space in Poland. The Bosch company counts among their customers who were served since the beginning.
